Yes. AIdMD is designed to support HIPAA-compliant use, with encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and audit logging. Patient data is handled securely, and PHI is not used to train public AI models.

No. AIdMD surfaces AI-generated suggestions — diagnoses, notes, orders, and actions — but a licensed clinician always reviews and approves before anything is finalized or placed. The AI augments your judgment, never replaces it.

Study pre-screening for research teams. It checks each patient's chart against a study's inclusion and exclusion criteria, quotes the chart lines behind its answers, and gives each patient one result: likely a fit, may fit (needs checking), not a fit, or chart says too little. It never enrolls a patient or writes to the chart; your study team checks every candidate. Pricing is on request.

AIdMD writes back automatically — there is no copying, re-keying, or switching between systems. Once a clinician reviews and signs, the note, orders, referrals, and codes post to the chart through FHIR. The signature is the gate: nothing enters the record unsigned. New deployments start read-only, and write-back is enabled workflow by workflow as your governance team approves each one. What can be written back depends on your EHR; we confirm it with your team before go-live.

No. Patient data is never used to train public AI models. AIdMD may use anonymized, de-identified data with explicit customer consent to improve our clinical AI — but this is opt-in, not the default.

Your medical records stay in your EHR. AIdMD reads the chart when it is needed and keeps no lasting copy of it, so there is nothing to move out. When you cancel, we switch off the connection, remove your account, and return or delete what AIdMD stored for you, such as notes, drafts and work items, under your agreement.

A typical AIdMD Insights go-live takes 1–2 weeks. Our implementation team handles the technical configuration with your IT staff and provides clinician onboarding. Timelines depend on your EHR and approvals.
